Since 1993 ABC Emergency Management Seminars (ABC EMS) has been a family owned and operated First Aid and CPR training agency and currently provides training in California, Hawaii, Nevada, and Canada.

 

Since its inception, ABC EMS has been approved by the Canadian Workers’ Compensation Board, registered with the American Heart Association and the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation and since 1998 ABC’s Pediatric First Aid and CPR has been approved by the California Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA).  

 

From the beginning, ABC EMS utilized a unique and creative approach to teaching First Aid and CPR that is refreshing and enjoyable.  ABC is always on the leading edge of the latest developments and industry guideline changes and we are continuously expanding our safety training horizons with innovative new programs, including some specially designed for children.  

 

In 1996 ABC EMS created and copyrighted its highly successful First Aid program for children called the Junior Rescuer.  In the first 12 months of its creation more than 10,000 children, between the ages of 5 to 11, became Junior Rescuers.  In 2001 ABC EMS followed up with an equally popular program for children ages 8 to 14 called the Alone at Home   The Alone at Home program provides the ever-growing number of children, who spend time at home without parents, a safe and strategic way to avoid hazards and to manage interactions with adults whom they know or don’t know.
